About Brooke Bell

Brooke Bell (b.1998) is a photographer based in New York City. Originally from Orange County, CA, Bell moved to New York to pursue a BA in Photography from Marymount Manhattan College. In partnership with MMC, Bell studied at the International Center of Photography and has recently graduated in 2020. She was awarded the Gold Key Honorable Mention in the BA Art, Photography Concentration by MMC. Her work has been selected by both Blended NYC and Marymount’s Art Department to be exhibited in group & solo shows in New York City.

Using both digital and analogue processes, Bell’s style focuses on lifestyle photography with a diaristic approach. Originating from interest in capturing performance and dance, she started documenting fellow, pre-professional ballet dancers. Currently, Bell freelances photography and videography. She recently photographed Hamilton lead, Trey Curtis, for Broadway.com
